Starstuff

"The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of starstuff." -- Carl Sagan

Here's my lone attempt at coming up with something deep and meaningful this semester; pretty much the woman's footsteps sort of give off a mist of "starstuff". In reality, the swirly cloud this is a mixture of the floral, anatomical, mathematical, and astronomical. 

Acrylic on canvasboard; I tried dripping some of the paint down in streaks but it didn't really work. *sigh*
